CESSATION OF LIFE
"Kill You Again" (Self-produced)
Reviewed by Snidermann
One of the great things about my day job is that bands come in to have work done and I get to discover new music. That's how I got my hands on a copy of Cessation Of Life's "Kill You Again."
This band takes heavy metal to a new and totally unique level. Dark and twisted words, thunderous guitar riffs, booming bass and drums make Cessation Of Life a true blue killer rock band. This is some of the best metal I have the pleasure to listen to recently and the best part is they do it all without a record company or a bona fide producer.
The band's tight presentation pulls you along relentlessly and finally delivers you, breathless, at the end. Listen up, Metal Blade Records, Cessation Of Life would be a perfect fit. Anyway, how can you not like a band with a 7-second track entitled "I.F.T.W.M.F.A. (I Forgot To Wipe My Fucking Ass)." You gotta love that!
This Camarillo, California band does not play like your average local garage band and, with their talent and charisma, you can be sure to see them on a world stage soon.
