Cannae's "Gold Becomes Sacrifice" is what metal should be: full of life, in-your-face, unpredictable and loud.
This CD is ear splittingly raw and edgy, with no apologies and no hidden plans -- just good, heavy music. I was so blown away with the utter power, magnetism and charisma of Cannae that I had to listen to the entire CD three times in a row to finally get the scope of this recording. Prosthetic Records has a gem with "Gold Becomes Sacrifice."
