BURY ME DEEP
Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton
Heavy, guitar-driven rock'n'roll with solid, astoundingly understandable vocals. When I received "Graceheart," I expected it to be some more brutal type of music, such as death metal. But I was in for a pleasant surprise - the music is heavy with guitar chunk and runs at a fast but not out-of-control pace and the vocals are crisp and clear and well-modulated. All four songs are excellent and I especially liked the biting BLACK SABBATH-like lead riffs.
Bury Me Deep: Juha Koivunen, vocals; Jaakko Yla-Rautio, bass; Janne Metsola, guitar; Mikko Nevanlinna, drums.
