BRAINDANCE

"Redemption" (Progressive Darkwave Recordings; 2002)

Reviewed by Rose Grech

Braindance brings a new innovative form of Progressive music with an array of multiple, distinguished sounds.

Braindance is lead by only two creative musicians doing the vocals, guitar and programming. At times the vocals sound very similar to Pete Steele from Type O Negative.

Most songs contain accelerating drum beats, guitar solos and various keyboard sound effects accompanied by clear, high and low, deep seductive vocals delivering an eerie mood.  However there is also a softer, slower, soothing element to Braindance.

Overall, Braindance is a true model of originality in every musical division possible. So if you like Industrial or Progressive music and want to experiment with something completely new, this band is for you.
