BOMBNATION

"H.A.Z.M.A.T." (D7i / Doomsday Machine / Profusion; 2009)

Let's get one thing out in the open from the very first: there should be more bands out there like Bombnation.

From the first note of "H.A.Z.M.A.T." that spilled out of my iPod, I knew I was in the presence of a very good, dominating heavy metal band. With songs like "Drunk in Control," "Nuclear War" and "R.I.P. Mankind," Bombnation's slightly skewed version of reality is both dark and fun at the same time.

To say this music is explosive is kind of redundant. I really need a HAZMAT suit now that I have listened to this excellent recording because this shit is radioactive!!

Bombnation must be experienced to get the full effect, check them at http://myspace.com/bombnation; you will not be disappointed.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
