BOILER

"Cow Tipping in C Sharp" (Self-produced)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Boiler is a three-man rock band out of New York that has a good sound and they use it to make some pretty kick ass music. This is one of the best garage/party bands I have heard in a long time. Raw, gritty and straight from the heart, Boiler puts their souls on their sleeves with each and every song.

Unfortunately, there are little snippets of non-music soundbites throughout the releases that just get in the way and the backward e's throughout the CD artwork are most annoying - one thing we don't need more of is "cute" heavy metal.

Boiler is a good solid band. I look forward to hearing more from them as they focus and refine their sound.

Boiler: J. Harman - drums; Brian Robarge - guitar; Will Price - bass.
