THE BEN JACKSON GROUP

"All Over You" (Screaming Ferret Wreckords/Escapi; 2005)

Reviewed by Snidermann

When a dude puts his name in the front of a band, it can be either very good or very bad. It might be nothing more than an overwrought vanity project, or it might be someone with the talent to back up the confidence of naming the band after themselves.

Well, The Ben Jackson Group falls into the latter category. This band delivers a solid performance with "All Over You." Throughout, the CD contains genuine rock'n'roll music with heavy guitar and killer songwriting.

Most of the songs deal heavily with the relationships between males and females. Hey, we've all had them. Good or bad, why not write about them.

With "All Over You," the Ben Jackson Group delivers a high energy performance worthy of your attention.

Ben Jackson Group: Ben Jackson, Rich Tabor, Marck Borgmeyer and "Kid Dynamite" Rosie Marie Sexton.
