BARGAIN MUSIC

"The Magic Is Over" (Beatville; 2003)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Although Bargain Music shows a little rock'n'roll vitality in some of the cuts from "The Magic Is Over," the majority here is a confusing mixture of reggae, jazz, rap and some other stuff that, frankly, I found just plain boring.

At 72 minutes, the CD is overly long and overly varied. I would have preferred a CD just over half that length that focused on one sound rather than the varied potpourri we have here.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
