BABY WOODROSE

"Third Eye Surgery" (Bad Afro Records; 2012)

Baby Woodrose's "Third Eye Surgery" is a flawless re-creation of the classic hard rock music of the late '60s and early '70s. I'm talking about bands like Iron Butterfly, The Doors, Southwest FOB, etc. It's moody, psychedelic, trance-inducing music that is a perfect match for that era produced with a new fresh and crisp sound that manages to sound vintage but at the same time will really rock your ass off.

With it's sitars, ethereal vocals and buzzy, hypnotic, stoner-ish guitars, "Third Eye Surgery" is a tremendous success, especially if you're a fan of that genre and era.
