ADAGE

"Defined" (Pavement Records; 2014)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

"Define," by Adage, is a solid rock'n'roll recording. It's tight, well-recorded and -played and, for the most part, it kicks ass from beginning to end. It's got a modern rock sound and comes complete with at least one radio-friendly track. It's got a big sound that grows on you more and more with each listen.

Fans of bands such as Papa Roach will probably find a lot to like here. Those with more classic tastes may find "Define" just a little bit dull.

Adage: Justin - guitarist and vocalist; Luke - guitarist; Johnathan - bassist; Alex on drums.
