AC ANGRY

"Black Denim" (Dust on the Tracks; 2013)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

AC Angry's "Black Denim" is one snotty, snarly, dirty rock'n'roll album ... and that makes it freaking great!

Loaded with crunchy guitars, fist-pumping anthems and alcohol-, sin- and profanity-laden lyrics (from songs with titles like "You Got the Thirst -- I Got the Booze"), "Black Denim is irresistible hard rock in the edgy vein of Turbonegro and Supersuckers and sometimes, in fact, early AC/DC.

If you're looking for raw hard rock that makes no apologies for being just a little bit dangerous, look no further than AC Angry and their album "Black Denim." It's the kind of album you fall in love with the first time you listen through and you know you're going to play it over and over again.
